Sealed quotations are invited from the bonafide authorised ICR Software Manufacturer or the reputed and resourceful
Seller/Distributor/Channel partner of renowned ICR Software Manufacturer for processing of relevant data and also for
supply and installation of a ICR Software compatible to meet the following job at the office of the West Bengal Central
School Service Commission, ACHARYA SADAN, EE-11 &11/1, Salt Lake, Sector-II, Kolkata-700091.


JOB DETAILS: Number of Forms to be processed – 6,50,000 (approx). The forms may contain handwritten numeric
data, barcode and tick or cross marks to be scanned and verified. Each single page form contains approximately 32
numeric handwritten fields, 1 barcode field and 140 IC recognizable fields. The scanning would be done in grey scale.
Output is needed in CSV format. The entire job needs to be completed in 15 days period. Necessary infrastructure
excluding man-power will be provided by the Commission.
STIPULATED TIME FOR COMPLETION: The maximum allowable for completion of processing and delivery in CSV
format is 15 days. The selected vendor shall have to adhere to the time schedule strictly.


QUALIFICATION OF VENDOR – Should have track record of processing over 10,000,000 ICR based forms for more
than one Government Organisation/Semi-Government Organisation/Government Undertaking/Autonomous Body in
last TWO years.
Note: The Commission would also like to state that this job will be treated as evaluation of ICR Software, if the
Commission wishes to procure the ICR Software in future. Only Vendors who are authorized representatives of
renowned ICR Software manufacturers shall participate in the Tender.
The intending tenderers shall submit their rates in their OFFICE LETTER HEAD for data processing of each ICR Form
and also the rate for supply and installation ICR Software compatible for the job as mentioned above separately.
• Tenders will be received upto: 14.00 hrs. on 21.10.2010
• Time and date of opening the tender: After 14.00 hrs of 21.10.2010
• Venue of opening the Tender: The Office of the WBCSSC at the above address
EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT: Rs.15,000=00 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) only in the from of Bank Draft from any
Nationalized/Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of “West Bengal Central School Service Commission”. Earnest
money is to be deposited along with submission of Tender documents & relevant Papers.
Quotation should also accompany valid IT, ST, TL Clearance Certificates. The West Bengal Central School Service
Commission reserves the right to cancel all or any of the Tenders without assigning any reasons thereof. The


Commission is not bound to accept the lowest quoted tender and reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without
assigning any reason (s) thereof.
